In Italy, we have two main sayings related to weddings and weather events – “sposa bagnata, sposa fortunata” (translated: “wet bride, lucky bride”) and “il sole bacia i belli” (translated: “the sun kisses the beautiful”). Kaila and Marcus had both: their wedding day in Positano started under heavy rain and dark clouds, but the two of them were so thrilled and happy they didn’t even care. I guess their happiness was so invasive that the weather itself looked down and decided to blow away the clouds – the brightest, most beautiful sun came out right at the end of Kaila’s getting ready and blessed us with its colors for the rest of the day.
These two were the epitome of love conquers all. We are still blown away by their floral decor, too: due to the weather, they had to opt for a plan B for the ceremony and dinner that ended up being infinitely better than plan A, with two terraces overlooking Positano that were simply too beautiful to be true. Enjoy!
